In the last 3 months, I have seen a sea change near my house. I have seen at least a dozen new shops, showrooms open up. After 2 years of nearly no new business activity, I find this a welcome change.

These are what can be called the green shoots of a recovery. Post COVID induced lockdown, business took a hit. Although I am saying this from empirical observations, I am sure, there are hard numbers available in the public domain for the same.

The thing I find actually heartening is that these look like long term investments. From the ones I spoke with, they are in it for the long run. These, my friends, are the green shoots of growth which would grow spectacularly in the coming time.
